As a newly appointed Chairman (1st August 2022) it will be my privilege to continue the process of taking C.W. Mackie towards its chosen milestone of a truly modern Sri Lankan conglomerate with multifaceted business options, reaching out to an array of consumers across the global divide.

C.W. Mackie commenced trading from a Danish investment 120 years back, majoring on commodity exports, to a variety of relevant home-based businesses linked to each other by synergistic support.

Among the several FMCGs’, its North Star is Food & Beverage (F&B) with in-house manufacturing and agri related support, spinning out “well loved” market leadership brands such as “Sunquick” “Jumbo Peanuts” and “Scan Bottled Water”. In a distribution network we reach out to an amazing over 80,000 touch points covering almost every township in our Island Republic.

As we look into the future, we see C.W. Mackie as a Food & Beverage giant spreading its wings across the geography worldwide. Its long serving employees will ensure this to happen by their skills, loyalty and dedication.
